The #100 mesh fine woven pure brass wire mesh (0.056mm wire, 0.198mm aperture) is a lightweight and versatile material, perfect for precise filtration and decorative applications. Made from pure brass, consisting of 65% copper and 35% zinc, this mesh offers a distinctive yellow-gold appearance that naturally acquires a verdigris patina over time. Brass is a relatively soft metal, allowing for easy cutting and forming, while still providing durability and resistance to corrosion.
With an aperture size of 0.198mm and a wire diameter of 0.056mm, this fine mesh is designed for applications requiring precision and a high open area. Its 61% open area provides excellent airflow and visibility, making it well-suited for fine filtration, sieving, or as a refined decorative element in architectural or craft projects. The mesh’s 100 holes per linear inch ensures a fine, even weave for applications requiring high accuracy and fine screening.
