An angle of stainless steel can be used to make frames, brackets. Also often used for other fabrications in engineering and manufacturing. The alloying elements in steel, such as molybdenum, nickel, and chromium, prevent the steel from rusting or staining. Without these alloying elements, the iron in the steel would be susceptible to oxidation, rusting, and staining.

Two grades of stainless steel are available, 304 and 316. 304 is the general commercial grade, readily machined and formed, excellent for welding, and resistant to corrosion. It is recommended for marine and coastal applications to use the 316 grade of stainless steel as it has better corrosion resistance.
