The 316 marine grade super fine woven wire mesh represents the pinnacle of fine mesh technology, designed specifically for high precision and critical applications in challenging environments. This mesh is made from high-grade 316 stainless steel, known for its superior corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for marine and chemical processing applications.
With an incredibly fine aperture of 0.026mm, this mesh is the finest offering in our range, designed to achieve excellent levels of filtration and separation. Such a minute size allows for the exclusion of extremely small particles, making it perfect for applications in pharmaceutical manufacturing, fine chemical filtration, and laboratory research.
The wire diameter is almost equal to the aperture size at 0.025mm, which ensures a high precision weave that maintains strength and structural integrity even at such fine dimensions. This close ratio between the wire diameter and aperture size is critical for maintaining consistent performance and reliability in filtration processes.
An open area of 37% provides a balance between particle retention and flow rate, essential for maintaining efficiency in filtration and aeration applications. The lower open area is typical for super fine meshes, as it enhances the filter’s ability to capture fine particulates without sacrificing necessary throughput.
The #500 TWILL designation indicates a twill weave pattern, which is used to provide additional strength and stability to the mesh structure. This weaving style allows the mesh to handle higher pressures and flow rates compared to standard weaves, making it more durable under rigorous conditions.
Weighing just 0.16 kg/m2, this mesh is lightweight yet robust, facilitating easy handling and installation. Its light weight combined with exceptional strength makes it versatile for use in both stationary installations and in processes requiring mobile or flexible filtering solutions.
Wire mesh materials are also available in brass, copper, galvanised steel and blue PVC.
