Our #18 woven wire mesh, made from 304-grade stainless steel, is a reliable and durable solution for rodent proofing, screening, and medium-fine filtration. With a 0.961mm aperture and a 0.45mm wire diameter, this mesh is designed to block access to pests and rodents while still allowing airflow and visibility. The 46% open area ensures a functional balance between breathability and protection, making it ideal for use around vents, soffits, floor voids, and air bricks. Its weight of 1.82 kg per square metre gives the mesh a strong and stable feel without being overly rigid.
The fine aperture is specifically small enough to prevent entry by mice and rats, which often exploit even tiny openings to gain access to buildings.
