#145 stainless steel woven mesh with 0.123mm aperture and 0.052mm wire. With 49% open area and a fine cloth-like texture, it’s ideal for precision filtration, sieving, and protection. Strong, corrosion-resistant, and easy to handle, it’s perfect for labs, manufacturing, and sensitive technical applications.
Our #145 woven wire mesh, manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel, features a 0.123mm aperture and a 0.052mm wire diameter, offering a fine and precise mesh structure ideal for high-accuracy filtration, sieving, and screening tasks. With a 49% open area, this mesh allows consistent and efficient air and liquid flow while capturing very fine particles. The tight weave and fine wire gauge create a cloth-like texture, making it an excellent choice for use in laboratory settings, industrial filtration systems, electronics protection, and fine particle separation.
Thanks to the 304 stainless steel construction, this mesh offers excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and cleanliness. It performs well in both dry and moderately corrosive environments, making it suitable for repeated use in manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical handling. The mesh’s structure remains stable under tension and through repeated handling, making it dependable in both fixed installations and custom-fabricated components.
This mesh is particularly well suited for micron-level filtration, screen printing backing, protective mesh in sensors or devices, and fine sieving processes where the accuracy of aperture and material strength are critical. Its light weight and refined texture make it easy to cut, fold, and integrate into assemblies, while its strength ensures it won’t easily fray or deform during use.
Its versatile nature also makes it useful for craftwork, small-scale engineering projects, and customised filter design, especially in areas where a fine aperture is required without sacrificing long-term durability. The stainless finish provides a clean, professional look and does not require additional treatment to resist rust or wear under normal operating conditions.
Wire mesh materials are also available in brass, copper, galvanised steel and blue PVC.
