#130 stainless steel woven mesh with 0.152mm aperture and 0.043mm wire. With 61% open area, it’s perfect for fine filtration, air or liquid screening, and technical applications. Corrosion-resistant and highly precise, this mesh suits lab, industrial, and cleanroom use.
Our #130 woven wire mesh, made from high-quality 304-grade stainless steel, features an ultra-fine 0.152mm aperture and a 0.043mm wire diameter, offering a lightweight yet durable mesh ideal for precision filtration, sieving, and fine screening. With a high 61% open area, this mesh allows excellent air and liquid flow while still effectively capturing very small particles, making it a top performer in technical, laboratory, and industrial environments.
This mesh is woven with 130 holes per linear inch, creating a tight, uniform pattern that is both flexible and stable. The 304 stainless steel construction provides outstanding resistance to corrosion, heat, and chemical exposure, which makes it suitable for long-term use in demanding applications such as pharmaceutical production, food processing, electronics manufacturing, and cleanroom environments. Despite its delicate appearance, the mesh is tough enough to hold its shape under tension and withstand repeated handling.
Its fine, cloth-like texture makes it suitable for use in vacuum filtration, dust control systems, air and water purification, slurry screening, and micron-level particle separation. It can be cut with care and integrated into custom filtration units or fitted as a protective mesh in sensitive devices. Thanks to its high open area, the mesh maintains efficient flow rates while delivering consistent, accurate filtration performance.
This #130 mesh is also popular among engineers, technical developers, and lab technicians, who need a dependable fine mesh that balances precision and resilience. The material is easy to clean, resistant to oxidation, and requires no additional coatings to maintain performance in most environments.
Wire mesh materials are also available in brass, copper, galvanised steel and blue PVC.
